The house is large enough for eight - we have had family gatherings there with kids seemingly everywhere, but equally it feels cosy enough for just 2 wanting a luxurious time away (By luxurious I mean warm, dry and not draughty. In other words, the complete opposite of a typical old building). Upstairs The stairs leads up to the spacious landing with a private storage space. Off the landing is the bathroom with bath, shower over, basin, bidet and toilet. Then the four bedrooms are also accessed from there too. Bed 1 has a king size bed. Bed 2 has a double, Bed 3 has two singles and bed 4 has a bunk bed (each large enough for an adult). Again each room has its own programmable thermostat for the underfloor heating up stairs, so making the comfortable accommodation enjoyable for all. The oak beams were exposed in the refurbishment and have been left exposed for your enjoyment. The lighting in each of the bedrooms has the added benefit of controlling the bedside lamps from the door and the bed.
